What it’s like to work with us
Dedicated: Original: Sagacious
Our client and candidate testimonials speak for themselves, but in a nutshell, this is what to expect from us.
Clients
We’ll take the time to understand the brief and the type of candidates you are looking for. We won’t send you profiles of all the candidates we happen to know. Rather, we’ll undertake a targeted search and send you profiles that match your needs.
We won’t share candidate profiles we’ve sent to you with other clients until you’ve said ‘no’ to a particular candidate. Up until that point, the profiles we’ve shared are exclusive to you.
We won’t send you profiles of candidates who have no relevant experience for your role, nor will we send you details of candidates whose salary expectations are way beyond your salary budget.
We’ll keep you dated of the hours we’ve used. If filling the role is proving more challenging, we’ll discuss the way forward with you. We’ll review the job description and make suggestions for any changes. We’ll feedback to you what candidates are saying about the role/salary.
Candidates
We’ll take the time to chat with you and understand your skills and experience and, importantly, what you are looking for in a new role. We’ll review your CV and, where relevant, provide constructive feedback. We’ll make sure you are properly briefed before interviews, and we always aim to provide feedback from our clients on how it went.
We won’t put you forward for roles that don’t match your skills and experience, or don’t fit with your career aspirations. Nor will we put you forward for opportunities where we perceive the culture of the company wouldn’t be a good match. We’ll always get your permission to share your CV with clients before doing so.
We’ll be honest with you if your salary expectations are either too low or too high for a particular role. We’ll negotiate salary on your behalf and always be clear with our clients from the outset what your salary expectations are.
Finally, rest assured that we will never try to persuade you to take a role you (or we) don’t feel is right for you. Our aim is always to ensure the right candidates are matched with the right opportunities – that’s what good recruitment is all about.
